Save on dental floss length

0

The tip is not to break off a length of dental floss each time you need to floss your teeth. One end goes around one finger as per normal, the other around the other finger, but you do no break the dental floss off from the dispenser.

When you are done flossing your teeth, break off at the section where you keep the segment which was wound round your finger. Break off the floss at where the clean part ends and the dirty part begins.

You save dental floss because breaking off normally uses up [finger][service length][finger], but with this new method, only uses [finger][service length]. The missing length saved can be used during 2 flossing sessions.

Illustration over 3 flossing sessions:

[finger][service length]**[finger]**

**[finger]**[service length]_[finger]_

_[finger]_[service length][finger]

vs

[finger][service length]

[finger][service length]

[finger][service length]

Where one [finger] segment is reused across 2 flossing sessions.
