I had a hard time cherry picking text from books and stuff so I made an app that scans just the highlighted text

We never know where an important piece of information will show up, and on finding it usually we want to collect it somehow (being the information hungry animals we are) so we take notes and make documents and what not.

But I struggled with one thing, that is manually entering any important piece of text information onto my smartphone, so I came up with a workaround that I think you guys would like too. I made an app that when pointed to any highlighted text (yellow, green, blue doesn’t matter) it scans and captures just that and leaves everything else behind, I used computer vision and OCR technology to build it, it’s up for android devices, check out this link if you find it interesting http://autopick.co and it works on screens too.
